Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before purchasing or using any product or service offered by Discovering Youniverse Ltd. By accessing our websites or purchasing any product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. About Us

Discovering Youniverse Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales. We operate an astrology-based learning platform across the following websites, all of which are subject to these Terms:

2. Definitions

  • “Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”: Discovering Youniverse Ltd.
  • “You”, “User”, “Customer”: Any person who accesses our websites or purchases our products or services.
  • “Digital Products”: Online courses, ebooks/PDFs, mobile app access, and any other downloadable or streamed digital content sold by us.
  • “Services”: 1-on-1 consultations and membership subscriptions.
  • “Platform”: Our websites, web-app, and mobile application, including all associated tools and features.
  • “App”: The Discovering Youniverse mobile application, available on iOS and/or Android.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account, completing a purchase, or continuing to use our Platform, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You have read and understood these Terms and our Privacy Policy
  • You agree to be legally bound by these Terms

Guest checkout purchases automatically create a user account on your behalf. By completing a guest purchase, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

4. User Accounts

  • A single account grants you access across all websites and the App operated by Discovering Youniverse Ltd.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
  • You may not share your account, login credentials, or purchased content with others.

5. Products and Services

5.1 Online Courses

Upon purchase of an online course, you are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and view the course content for your own personal use. You may not share, reproduce, distribute, or resell course content.

5.2 Ebooks and PDFs

Upon purchase of an ebook or PDF, you are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to download and read the content for your own personal use. You may not share, reproduce, or distribute the content.

5.3 Mobile Application

Our App provides read-only access to content and features associated with your account. All purchases are made exclusively through our website. Content and access entitlements purchased on the website are automatically reflected in the App upon sign-in with the same account.

The App does not process payments and no purchases can be made directly within the App. You must have a registered account to use the App. We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue App features at any time.

5.4 1-on-1 Consultations

Consultations are delivered online (via video or audio call). Booking a consultation constitutes agreement to the scheduling and cancellation terms set out in Section 7.

5.5 Membership and Subscriptions

Membership subscriptions grant ongoing access to platform features for the duration of the subscription period. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in accordance with Section 7.

6. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are displayed in GBP (British Pounds) unless otherwise stated and include VAT where applicable.
  • Payment is processed securely by Stripe or PayPal via SureCart. We do not store your payment card details.
  • All purchases are made through our website only. No payments are taken via the App.
  • You agree to pay the full amount for any product or service at the time of purchase.
  • We reserve the right to update our prices at any time. Existing purchases will not be affected by price changes.

7. Cancellations, Refunds and Returns

7.1 Digital Products — Online Courses, Ebooks, and App Access

Please read carefully before purchasing.

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers ordinarily have a 14-day right to cancel distance contracts. However, this right does not apply to digital content where supply has begun and you have expressly consented to this and acknowledged the loss of your cancellation right.

By completing a purchase of any Digital Product on our Platform, you:

  • Expressly request that we begin supplying the digital content immediately upon purchase; and
  • Acknowledge and agree that by doing so, your right to cancel — and therefore your right to a refund — is waived once the content has been accessed or the download has been initiated.

All sales of Digital Products are therefore final. No refunds will be issued once course content has been accessed, an ebook has been downloaded, or App access has been granted.

We strongly encourage you to review all product descriptions, sample content where available, and FAQs before purchasing. If you have questions about whether a product is right for you, please contact us at info@discoveringyouniverse.com before buying.

Exceptions — where a refund may be considered at our sole discretion:

  • You purchased a product by clear mistake (for example, a duplicate purchase of the same product) and have not yet accessed the content. This must be reported within 24 hours of purchase.
  • The digital content is materially defective or fails to function as described, and the issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe.
  • We are required to issue a refund under applicable UK consumer law in circumstances not waived by the above.

To request a review under any of the above exceptions, contact us at info@discoveringyouniverse.com within 7 days of purchase, including your order number and a description of the issue.

7.2 1-on-1 Consultations

All consultations are delivered online. Once a consultation session has taken place, no refund will be issued.

  • You may cancel or reschedule a booked consultation with at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled start time, at no charge.
  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the session price.
  • No-shows (failure to attend without prior notice) will be charged in full and are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling.

7.3 Memberships and Subscriptions

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings or by contacting us.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access until that date.
  • Subscription fees already charged for the current billing period are non-refundable, except where required by law.
  • We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial subscription periods.

7.4 UK Statutory Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a UK consumer. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you retain entitlements where a product or service is faulty, misdescribed, or not fit for purpose. These rights apply regardless of the above and cannot be excluded.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our Platform — including but not limited to course materials, ebooks, written content, graphics, videos, software, astrological tools, and the Platform itself — is owned by or licensed to Discovering Youniverse Ltd and is protected by UK and international copyright law.

Your purchase grants you a personal, non-commercial licence to access and use content for your own use only. You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our written permission
  • Share login credentials or purchased content with others
  • Use our content for commercial purposes
  • Create derivative works based on our content
  • Screen-record, screenshot, or otherwise capture course or app content for redistribution

9. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use our Platform to:

  • Violate any UK or international law or regulation
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Upload or transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user’s account
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or extract content from our Platform
  • Engage in any conduct that could damage our reputation or the experience of other users

10. Personalised Astrological Content

The astrological content, readings, and insights provided through our Platform are offered for educational and entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute professional medical, psychological, financial, legal, or other regulated advice.

You use our astrological tools and content at your own discretion. Discovering Youniverse Ltd makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of astrological content for any particular purpose.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Platform and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • Warranties as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Discovering Youniverse Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Platform or products, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the product or service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

13. Third-Party Links and Services

Our Platform may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites. Accessing third-party sites is entirely at your own risk.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We encourage you to contact us at info@discoveringyouniverse.com before bringing any formal proceedings, so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally.

15. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the ‘Last updated’ date above and, where appropriate, by emailing registered users. Your continued use of our Platform after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
