Discovering Youniverse Ltd is the sole Data Controller for personal data collected across all websites and services listed in Section 1. The App accesses the same personal data associated with your account, including your astrological profile and any content you have purchased, in order to provide you with a consistent experience across devices. No additional personal data beyond what is described in this policy is collected by the App.

Where the App is not yet available in your region or is in development, this section applies upon its release and is included here to ensure transparency about our intended data practices.

8. Third-Party Services and Data Processors

We use the following third-party services that may process your personal data on our behalf. These parties act as Data Processors under UK GDPR and are contractually bound to process data only on our instructions.

• SureCart: E-commerce and order management platform used to process purchases on our website.
• FluentCRM: Customer relationship management and email automation.
• Resend: Email delivery service. Resend processes your email address to deliver transactional and marketing emails on our behalf.

• Astrological Data Provider: A third-party API service supplies raw astrological computation data (such as planetary positions and chart calculations) based on the birth details you provide. This data is used solely to generate personalised content within our platform and is not retained by the provider beyond the scope of the API request.
• SiteGround: Web hosting provider. Our websites and data are hosted on SiteGround servers located in the United States.

9. International Data Transfers

Our websites are hosted on servers located in the United States. Some of our third-party service providers may also process your data outside the UK or EEA.

Where we transfer personal data outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as:

• Marketing consent records: Retained for as long as the consent is active, plus 1 year after withdrawal for compliance records.
• Analytics data: Retained in anonymised or aggregated form per our analytics provider’s default retention settings.

As a data subject under UK law, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

When you create an account (including via guest checkout), your email address is automatically added to transactional and service-related mailing lists. These cover account notifications, purchase confirmations, and product updates relevant to your use of the platform.

Promotional, marketing, and offer-based emails require your explicit opt-in consent. You may opt in at account creation, via your account settings, or via any subscription form on our websites.
