This partial lunar eclipse happening on 16 July in close proximity to Saturn and Ketu, will make our mind a bit agitated, anxious or even frustrated. But there will be some precious lessons, too.
Moon in Uttarashadha nakshatra, when eclipsed, and in close proximity or drying influences of Saturn and Ketu, may often feel a bit barren, helpless or in some sense “impotent”. This is why so many people feel frustrated around this time period, as it forces them to face their own weaknesses and limitations. For many people this will be also a difficult time period for their health, relations or finances, as nourishing potential of the Moon is currently already diminished on the sky, when he started to approach the difficult culmination point.

Yet, at the same time, this emotionally challenging time period, carries with itself an incredible potential to heal our old wounds and find new solutions for our challenges in life. As this lunar eclipse will culminate in Uttarashadha nakshatra, star rules Vishwadevas, the Divine light-workers and the editors presiding over 10 directions of the world, it is time to look a little bit around and open up for new truths, new realisations, new solutions and… help from others. It is also the time to open up for things, which you might have failed to see before. And these can be both unpleasant truths of life, as well as… new opportunities, waiting for you just around the corner.

This is a time of powerful transitions. The eclipse point will be almost exactly in the 0 degree point between sidereal Sagittarius and Capricorn, while Sun, on the other side of the zodiac, will be also experiencing sankranti dosh between Gemini and Cancer, adding up to the intensity of the moment. A powerful time of changes, turns, endings and new beginnings.

This partial lunar eclipse, similarly like last year, will happen on the sacred day of Guru Purnima – the day, when we show out gratitude to all teachers and Gurus. It is a silent hint from the universe, that in this time period, if you stay humble and open to learn something new, universe can be very generous to you. But if you resist to learn your life lesson, it may become more strict teacher.

If you have a Guru in life, it is best to spend this time period in His presence, physically or spiritually. It is a wonderful time for prayer, meditation, self-reflection and opening for new horizons and realisations. On this special day, it is said that is also very important to be very vigilant about your thoughts, as they have power to materialise. But this can also help you to attract new opportunities into your life.
