A birth chart operates differently when we move from one place to another. Its planetary pattern remains the same, but different parts of that pattern become more prominent in different locations. Astro Cartography places the birth chart upon the map of the world, revealing where particular planetary energies may become stronger, more visible or more personally significant.
When you first look at an Astro Cartography map, its many planetary lines can appear complex. Yet the purpose of the map is profoundly practical: to understand how location may influence the way a person experiences career, relationships, creativity, family life, personal growth and other important areas of life. The real skill lies not merely in identifying a line, but in interpreting it in the context of the whole birth chart and translating it into meaningful guidance.
Course prerequisites: This course is suitable for those who have an understanding of astrological basics, including the significations of the planets, and a basic ability to read a natal chart. It is open to practitioners of both Indian Astrology (Jyotish) and Western Astrology, as Astro Cartography does not use the concept of Ayanamsa that separates the two systems – Sidereal and Tropical astrology.

In the “Practical Astro Cartography” course, you will learn a structured and usable approach to reading Astro Cartography maps. The course is designed to move you beyond a beginner’s understanding and help you begin practising Astro Cartography with clarity and confidence.
This is not intended to make you an expert or to cover every advanced principle of locational astrology. Those deeper techniques are reserved for the next level. Instead, the objective is to give you a dependable foundation: enough understanding, method and guided practice to analyse locations, recognise important planetary themes and offer responsible preliminary consultations.
By the end of the course, you should be able to approach an Astro Cartography map without being overwhelmed by its lines, organise your interpretation systematically and begin applying the subject in real-life situations with confidence beyond the beginner level.
