Pitri Paksha, the dark fortnight of the ancestors and the time for prayer for departed souls, is slowly coming to an end – while the sacred period of Navaratri, the bright fortnight of the Goddess and the symbolic rebirth of Shakti, is fast approaching. The New Moon between the two fortnights is the sacred threshold where, together with Nature, we transition from darkness into light – from dissolution into creation.
Every astrology practitioner has heard these questions so many times: Is my chart good or bad? Is this planet good or bad for me? And although it’s natural for the mind to try to look at life through the polarities of black and white, the reality is usually way more complex than that—because human life is, too.

While Brihaspati, the lord of vastness, will be transiting in the sky through his highest place, he will be visiting different lunar stations or nakshatras on his way – each of them giving a unique flavour to a particular moment in time. In this article you can read more the different lessons that we will be globally learning while Jupiter will be transiting through the nakshatras in the upcoming year.
